Dress to Impress

We’re celebrating in gorgeous Goa, a coastal state in western India. In early November, the weather is warm and tropical, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C (75°F to 90°F).

So pack your breezy cottons, linens, and flowy silks—perfect for the sunshine and sea breeze. Since many of our events will take place outdoors, we recommend wearing flats, wedges, or block heels instead of stilettos. Trust us—your feet will thank you!

Below, you’ll find a suggested dress guide for each event, but feel free to use it as inspiration rather than a rulebook. Most importantly, come dressed to feel fabulous—and ready to celebrate!

  • Welcome Lunch & Mehendi

    Resort Chic

Kick off the festivities with tropical vibes, good food, and henna fun!

Think colorful, stylish resort wear—flowy dresses, co-ord sets, and/or prints!

  • Sangeet (Traditional Concert)

    Indian or Indo-Western Formal

Bring the sparkle—think glittering lehengas, shimmering saris, or stylish fusion wear for the ladies; festive kurtas, bandhgalas, or Indo-Western looks for the gents.

    Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

  • Haldi (Turmeric Ritual)

    Seaside Fun

This one’s going to get a little messy—in the best way!

Skip the fancy stuff and go for something light and carefree: a cotton or linen kurta, your dadi’s old saree, or an easygoing summer dress. Steer clear of anything too precious!

  • Wedding Ceremony & Reception

    Indian, Western, or Moroccan Formal

It’s time for the grand finale!

Dress in elegant yet breathable evening wear: chiffon, organza, lace, or breezy silk for the ladies; lightweight sherwanis, kurtas with bundis, or linen suits for the gents.
